Meraki Group Ltd is a technology company building SaaS products for the African hospitality and service industry. Menubarai is our first product — a smart QR menu platform that turns any physical menu into a live digital experience guests can browse and order from instantly.
Why we exist
A 12-minute wait
for an outdated menu.
Our founder walked into a restaurant in Lagos Island. The table was set, the music was right — but there was no menu. A waiter brought one 12 minutes later. Half the items had prices crossed out with a pen, and three things were unavailable.
That's not a bad restaurant problem. That's an infrastructure problem. Paper menus can't update in real time. WhatsApp screenshots don't have a cart. Asking a waiter every time creates bottlenecks.
Menubarai fixes all three: the menu is always live, orders go straight to the dashboard, and Meraki (our AI agent) handles the questions staff keep repeating.

How we got here.
Idea born in a Lagos restaurant
Samuel waited 12 minutes for a menu that was out of date anyway. The frustration became a product brief.
First version shipped
A simple QR-to-menu system built in a week. The first restaurants in Lagos Island went live within the month.
Orders + WhatsApp dispatch
Guests could now order from the menu. Order cards went to staff over WhatsApp — no new device, no new training.
Meraki AI agent launched
Meraki started answering guest questions live: opening hours, allergens, today's specials. First AI feature with measurable ROI.
Meraki Group Ltd incorporated
The product became a company. Menubarai is Meraki Group's first — not last — product for African hospitality.
